Each year, AFP’s National Philanthropy Day is celebrated worldwide to recognize the profound impact of philanthropy and the individuals, businesses, and organizations that make a difference in their communities. Here in Nashville, we are proud to continue this tradition with a breakfast and awards ceremony on Tuesday, November 17, 2026.

First recognized by President Ronald Reagan in 1986, National Philanthropy Day (NPD) has honored the spirit of giving for nearly four decades. 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of this global celebration, highlighting the generosity and leadership that strengthen communities everywhere!

This special event will unite leaders from the nonprofit, business, and philanthropic sectors to celebrate individuals, corporations, and organizations that exemplify generosity and civic responsibility in Middle Tennessee. It’s a unique opportunity to showcase your commitment to philanthropy and connect with a network of changemakers dedicated to strengthening our community.
